These little 100% beeswax blocks of thread conditioner are made using wax from our small-scale hives in York, North Yorkshire.
Each block weighs approximately 14g and comes in a little tin with a sliding lid, so it's handy for keeping in your sewing kit!
Thread conditioner is designed for strengthening your thread when hand-sewing and helping it glide through fabric more easily and smoothly. It also reduces the chance of your thread tangling and splitting.
The tin is approx. 60mm x 34mm x 12mm.
To use
Gently pull the thread between your thumb and the beeswax twice, then pull the thread through your thumb and finger, to smooth.
Keep out of reach of pets and children.
As these are completely natural and hand-poured, the beeswax can vary in colour and may have small imperfections.
We clean and render our beeswax and then filter it at least twice but small impurities may still be present.
Our beeswax smells beautiful due to the natural aroma of honey and floral nectar!
Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery costs a flat fee of £4 per order. Your order will be sent via Royal Mail or courier, depending on the size and weight of the order. Your order will usually arrive within 5 working days but please allow up to 7 before getting in touch.
We currently only ship to the UK on orders placed through the website. However, if you are outside the UK and would like to place an order please feel free to get in touch as we may be able to send out small orders of certain items, depending on the weight and value of goods plus any restrictions your country may have.
