Welcome to Little Yorkshire Honey House (previously The Yorkshire Hive). We are a small, independent York-based business selling a range of bee products, including pure Yorkshire honey, beeswax candles, bee related gifts and natural beeswax and honey skincare. Our range of bee products has been thoughtfully and carefully chosen. As a micro-beekeeper we have limited amounts of each batch of our pure Yorkshire honey and these can sell out quickly! We have no current plans to change this, as by keeping things small we are able to provide as much care for our bees as possible.
The products we sell are either produced by us, or supplied by other Yorkshire independents; by purchasing from our website you are supporting small UK businesses (us, and our suppliers!)

Pure Yorkshire honey
Produced in small batches, our pure Yorkshire honey goes from hive to jar with as few steps as possible in between.
Our pure Yorkshire honey is produced in small batches and the colour and taste of each batch is always unique. We usually stock Summer flower honey, Spring flower honey and Wildflower honey. Occasionally we have a guest honey, such as borage or heather.

The finest of honey!
I read that a lot of the honey in the supermarkets is impure or not what it says it is. Not this stuff! I refuse to buy honey from big companies now.
I had the summer flowers jar this time and it is just as beautiful as the spring flowers I had last time.

I always buy several jars of this heather honey whenever it's available, it is my Dad's absolute favourite. Compared to the other LYH honeys it is bit thicker and has a stronger flavour. Delicious!
